Tomorrow we are starting our road trip throughout Florida. We are currently having a tropical storm come through North Florida so we decided to flip the trip route and start exploring south. I hope we don't get rained out through our whole trip. I've been looking forward to camping with Jeff: roasting marshmallows, watching the fire, play card games, and sleeping under the stars.
I had to cancel the St. George Island reservation because the tropical storm is hitting that exact area spot first. No worries, hope the storm will pass through the first week and the second week will be nice. Either way, I'm not too worried. Most of the attractions we want to visit are indoors. The photo-op stops can work in the rain.
The car is now packed! Lots of camping gear, maps, and snacks! We have Thrones night with our friends and we don't have to wake up early. We originally planned to leave by 6 a.m. but now we can leave at maybe 9 a.m.
