Make your own pancakes at DeLeon Springs!

After volunteering to come in early to work for a few hours, I grabbed JJ and went to De Leon Springs. They have this griddle house (The Old Spanish Sugar Mill) that allows you to cook your own pancakes and they offer additional fixings.

I loved that the griddle was in the middle of the table.They offer other food but come on, where's the fun in that? We had a blast making different kinds of pancakes.

Afterwards, we took a nice walk on the nature trail. One path led us to this ginormous Cypress tree.

After our walk, we took a very quick, very crisp dip in the springs. 72 degrees is just too cold but we got in.

After having the sun dry us, we got milkshakes from an ice cream place in Deland and headed back. Today was awesome :D
